Job summary

Ram's Gate Winery is seeking an Associate Manager, Hospitality and Events to lead on-site experiences and support the estate's hospitality team. You will oversee Event Captains, coordinate staff, vendors, and budgets for private client and internal events, ensuring flawless execution with the brand's standards.

You will collaborate with leadership across culinary and guest services, translating concepts into detailed operational plans, and stepping in as on-site leader for events to deliver

Responsibilities

• Externally-Booked Events: Build staffing plans
• Internal Event Coordination and Execution: translate approved concepts into detailed operational plans for Member, Trade, Media, and company events (fully produced events)
• Private Client Event Operational Coordination: primary contact with external event contractor to confirm operational details
• Facility and Vendor Readiness: coordinate event-space preparation, rentals, equipment, vendor access, setup timing
• Client Site Visits: host property walkthroughs for prospective and contracted clients with the external event contractor
• Event Closeout: complete post-event documentation and follow-up
• Event Innovation and Execution: assist in developing unique events reflecting creativity and high standards
• Staffing Coordination: develop event staffing plans with Manager, Hospitality & Guest Experience
• On-Site Event Leadership: lead on-site operations for winery-produced and private client events; direct staff and vendors
• Hospitality Leadership: assist as Assistant Manager of the Tasting Room and mentor staff
• Communication & Collaboration: work with leadership to communicate event details and address challenges; champion new initiatives; foster collaborative communication
