Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking a Catering and Events Coordinator to support the department in delivering world-class catering, wedding, social, and event experiences. You will participate in daily operations, coordinate site visits, prepare contracts, and assist with group arrivals and weddings.

The role requires a hospitality background, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a large, luxury resort setting
• Minimum of one year of hotel experience in catering and events
• Experience in luxury guest experience training
• Delphi and Amadeus Diagramming experience required
• Knowledge of meeting room capacities, banquet setup, audio-visual, and related details

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily departmental operations including reporting, training, distribution, change log, daily BEO meeting, daily events
• Assist team in preparing for site visits, pre-planning meetings, in-house events, special events, pre-cons and post cons
• Assist team in generating catering, wedding, social catering and event prospectus, contracts, and event orders and all production requirements
• Assist team in preparation for group arrivals including transfers, amenities, VIPs, group resume, room inspections, and reservations
• Support Wedding and Event Managers in creating and developing wedding packages
• Collaborate with vendors for décor, entertainment, floral, photography, graphics, etc.
• Consult and confer with clients on wedding inquiries, including ceremony and reception venue details and overall execution
