Job summary

The Mina-Group seeks a skilled Sommelier to elevate the wine program in our luxury hotel environment. You will curate wine selections, train staff, and ensure impeccable service with a focus on guest experience.

Qualifications include sommelier certification or equivalent luxury hospitality background, wine knowledge, and strong customer service. Must be able to thrive in fast-paced settings and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Beverage and Food experience in a luxury hotel environment and/or fine dining restaurant.
• Experience as a Sommelier or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food-and-wine pairings and other beverages.
• Extensive knowledge of wines and regions where they’re produced.
• Sommelier certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and by name after seating.
• Create and update the wine list with chefs/Restaurant Manager.
• Suggest food and wine pairings and upsell.
• Inform guests about wine varieties and prices.
• Perform wine service per procedures.
• Maintain wine list, cellar, and menus.
• Train staff on wines.
