Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking a Supervisor to energize a luxury retail floor, lead a team, and drive sales with a guest-first service mindset. You’ll coach staff, manage opening/closing procedures, handle cash, and ensure inventory integrity while promoting omni-channel and VIP clienteling.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail management (luxury preferred), strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office, social media, and selling tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role (luxury/premium preferred).
• Strong communication with customers and staff; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends.
• Comfort with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal sales and lead the team to hit KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices.
• Build client relationships through proactive outreach and superior service standards.
• Coach team on goals, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Perform opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Maintain inventory integrity and oversee stockroom organization.
