Job summary

TUMI is seeking an Associate Manager to join our Retail team. The role focuses on delivering a world-class client experience, driving personal and store sales, and mentoring staff to uphold brand standards.

The ideal candidate has a passion for luxury lifestyle brands and a track record of meeting sales goals, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position emphasizes initiative, client service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
• Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
• The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
• Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
• Can demonstrate proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPI’s.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
• Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.
• Have strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a client experience that reflects our brand ethos while building and maintaining client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service.
• Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics including conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Display initiative, plan and prioritize, and champion change effectively.
• Train and develop store associates through coaching and roleplay; support quarterly personal development goals.
• Coach and provide feedback using company tools to foster a 360‑degree development culture.
• Communicate clearly, ethically, and collaborate with team to achieve business goals.
• Ensure adherence to policies, payroll accuracy, and Tumi University Training.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and deliver a superior client experience.
