Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation is seeking an Associate Manager to support the General Manager in creating strategic plans and ensuring profitable execution of store initiatives. You will be a key decision-maker in the GM's absence and drive operational excellence, talent optimization, and innovative selling approaches while upholding the brand's integrity.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset to deliver the RL store vision and standards across the location.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent a plus.
• Retail management or similar in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
• Flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends; may include overnight shifts and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and strategic planning for your store location.
• Understand and educate your team on sales and profit performance tools and resources.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned to RL brand expectations by supporting the store vision.
• Assist in the creation of the store client development strategy and lead community outreach in your market.
• Execute the talent strategy set for your store, collaborating with the General Manager to build and develop a team focused on the customer.
• Drive networking and recruitment activities in your store market.
• Coach employees with ongoing development conversations and learning opportunities.
• Maintain productivity standards through store processes and inventory control to achieve shrink goals.
• Champion use of new technology to support New Ways of Selling and More Ways to Shop.
