Job summary

rag & bone in Seattle is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be a core partner to the Store Manager. You will lead day-to-day store operations, service, and staff development, while championing a client-centric, brand-aligned culture.

You will coach supervisors and associates, recruit and onboard, analyze sales data to drive performance, and collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Buying to optimize product presentation.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of retail experience in specialty, contemporary, or luxury environments.
• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience.
• Advanced clienteling skills to build and grow a loyal customer base.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs.
• Strong leadership presence on the sales floor with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service and build loyalty.
• Train staff on store operations from register to stock.
• Maintain cash handling and register procedures.
• Oversee payroll procedures and scheduling.
• Develop store business plans to drive performance and opportunities.
• Analyze sales reports to set strategies and meet goals.
