Job summary

rag & bone in Dallas is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the store leadership team. You will be a core partner to the Store Manager, overseeing daily operations, customer experience, and employee development while coaching supervisors and associates to deliver best-in-class service.

You will lead sales performance, coach staff, recruit and onboard, and collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Buying to optimize product assortment.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of retail experience in specialty, contemporary, or luxury environments.
• Minimum 1-2 years of management experience.
• Advanced clienteling skills with the ability to build and grow a loyal customer base.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs.
• Strong leadership presence on the sales floor with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Ability to analyze sales reports, KPIs, and business trends to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service techniques, build customer loyalty through clienteling standards and sales interactions.
• Train staff on all store operations tasks from register to stock room.
• Ensure cash handling and register procedures are maintained and executed.
• Ensure integrity of payroll procedures and store scheduling.
• Delegate appropriately to ensure efficiency of store operations and to develop team members.
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff.
• Identify, create, and manage the execution of all store business plans that drive performance results.
• Analyze sales reports and data to determine needs of the business and partner in setting strategies to achieve goals.
• Understand and exemplify rag & bone brand philosophy and lifestyle.
• Work closely with Visual Merchandising and Buying teams to advise on product assortment and displays based on customer demographics and market trends.
