Job summary

rag & bone in San Marcos, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, customer experience, and staff development. The role coaches and develops supervisors and associates while fostering a collaborative, high-energy environment that delivers best-in-class service.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff; analyze sales data to drive performance; and execute store business plans that maximize opportunities while upholding the rag & bone brand

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of retail experience in specialty, contemporary, or luxury environments.
• Minimum 1-2 years of management experience.
• Advanced clienteling skills with ability to build and grow a loyal customer base.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs.
• Strong leadership presence on the sales floor with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Ability to analyze sales reports, KPIs, and business trends to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service techniques and build customer loyalty.
• Train staff on all store operations from register to stock room.
• Maintain cash handling and register procedures.
• Manage payroll procedures and store scheduling.
• Delegate to ensure store operations efficiency and develop team members.
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff.
• Identify and execute store business plans to drive performance and opportunities.
• Analyze sales reports to inform strategies and goals.
• Build customer loyalty and grow clientele.
• Maintain product knowledge and share it with staff.
• Encourage team selling and align with rag & bone brand philosophy.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Buying on product assortment.
