Job summary

La Maison Longchamp is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to support the Store Manager in directing client experiences, sales support, and store operations. You will also oversee visual merchandising, financial management, and loss prevention, stepping in when the Store Manager is unavailable.

The role requires managing a luxury retail team, strong customer service, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; retail/fashion degree or related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years managing luxury retail teams of 7+ people.
• Proficiency in inventory, client experience, and visual merchandising.
• Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to meet/exceed monthly sales goals.
• Assist in scheduling, recruiting, training, and staff development.
• Handle POS transactions, returns, exchanges, and cash handling.
• Oversee inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention practices.
• Collaborate with HR on employee relations as needed.
