Job summary

Longchamp USA Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in directing client experiences, store operations, and sales performance across the Houston boutique network.

The role requires a strong background in luxury retail, inventory control, and visual merchandising, with 5+ years in management and a proven ability to lead a sales team. You will drive client engagement, supervise daily tasks, and ensure excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus relevant retail/ fashion degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as manager in luxury retail, overseeing a team of 7+ people.
• Proficiency in inventory management, client experience enhancement, and visual merchandising techniques.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iPhone iOS, and POS software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven track record of motivating a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to foster a positive work environment and staff retention.
• Assist in planning and assigning daily sales team tasks and goals.
• Perform morning briefs to recap results and set expectations.
• Support Store Manager with scheduling, recruiting, training, and staff development.
• Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and bank deposits.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Oversee office tasks including funds, receiving, inventory, and payroll assistance.
• Analyze weekly sales reports with Store Manager.
• Maintain policies adherence and meet monthly sales goals.
• Promote clienteling and strategic outreach for high sales conversion.
• Provide training completion and development tracking.
• Handle communications with Inventory Control Manager and HQ as needed.
• Travel between boutiques as necessary.
