Job summary

Longchamp USA seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Houston to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional client experiences, oversee store operations, and drive sales.

In this role, you will manage daily team tasks, assist with scheduling, inventory control, visual merchandising, and staff development, while ensuring alignment with luxury brand standards and company policies. Travel between boutiques may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) and either a degree in Retail, Fashion or related field or equivalent work experience and education required.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as manager in luxury retail, overseeing a team of 7 or more people
• Demonstrate proficiency in inventory management, client experience enhancement, and visual merchandising techniques.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadliners and exceptional attention to detail.
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, iPhone iOS, and various POS software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven track record of managing and motivating a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example to foster a positive work environment, promoting motivation and staff retention.
• Assists in planning and assigning sales team's daily tasks and goals.
• Performs morning briefs to recap results and set the day’s expectations.
• Supports Store Manager with scheduling, recruiting, training, and staff development.
• Assists in monitoring staff performance and conducting performance reviews.
• Handles POS transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Manages daily reconciliations, cash handling, and bank deposits.
• Ensures opening/closing of the store as required.
• Oversees inventory, receiving, merchandising, and payroll where applicable.
• Analyzes weekly sales and prepares reports with the Store Manager.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and client experience standards.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and visual merchandising standards.
