Job summary

TUMI is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to create an exceptional client experience, build strong client relationships, and drive sales through outstanding service in a luxury retail environment.

The ideal candidate will bring passion for travel and fashion, strong leadership, coaching, and teamwork with the ability to mentor staff, meet KPI targets, and grow with the brand. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
• Values a collaborative environment and openness to feedback.
• Retail team needs physical activity: stand, move, lift up to 30 pounds, use a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed personal sales and KPI metrics including conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Display initiative, plan and prioritize with strategic thinking and change management.
• Train and develop store team; coach and provide feedback; support recruitment and bench strength.
• Communicate effectively; maintain ethics; promote organizational goals and adapt to change.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, timecards and payroll; maintain Tumi University Training.
• Ensure adherence to visual guidelines and deliver superior client experience.
