Job summary

The Langham Chicago seeks a capable team member to support servers and ensure guests receive luxury service. You will set and clear tables, stock service areas and perform daily side work to uphold Langham Hospitality Group standards and Forbes service expectations.

Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness, polishing ware, serving beverages, and assisting colleagues across outlets. A strong emphasis on guest knowledge and compliance with liquor regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Two years of bussing experience required.
• IL Sanitation License, TIPS and BASSET licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain station stock and keep area clean during shift.
• Polish and inspect all restaurant service ware, linen, china and condiments.
• Provide coffee, water, beverages and breads to guests during meals.
• Set up tables and clear tables; transport dirty dishes to stewarding.
• Assist servers, bartenders and kitchen colleagues as needed.
• Explain dish components to guests and communicate clearly.
