Job summary

The Langham Chicago is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to deliver high-quality room service in a luxury hotel setting. The role requires knowledge of menu items, wine by the glass, and adherence to liquor regulations.

You will maintain a spotless In-Room Dining area and assist with room amenities while delivering Forbes Standard service. Ideal candidates have at least two years of relevant experience, appropriate food and alcohol certificates, and excellent guest service skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; some college preferred.
• Two years' experience as an In-Room Dining Server.
• Experience in In-Room Dining order taking is preferred.
• Applicable food handling and alcohol certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms according to hotel specifications.
• Assist in the maintenance of the In-Room Dining area and equipment.
• Service private in room meals according to fine dining room standards.
• Answer In-Room Dining phone within 3 rings with proper etiquette.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and guest rooms.
