Job summary

The Langham Chicago is seeking friendly, professional hospitality team members to support our Bar and Restaurant teams, delivering attentive service and detailing menu items to guests, in line with Langham Hospitality Group and Forbes standards.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, serving beverages, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety and courtesy at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior Food & Beverage experience required.
• Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables in assigned sections with attention to detail.
• Inspect linen, silver, china and other items for cleanliness and appearance.
• Serve food, coffee, water and beverages to guests.
• Coordinate with servers, porters and kitchen staff.
• Explain dishes in detail and to guests in proper language.
• Assist bar with setup and replenishment of supplies.
• Clear and reset tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant area during and after service.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Attend department meetings and be a positive team player.
