Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver prompt, courteous service in a luxury dining environment. You will master the menu, support guests with wine and food choices, and maintain an elevated level of attentiveness throughout service.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Training and benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive team program.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred.
• Strong guest-service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile transactions at the end of each shift and balance cash.
• Know menu items, ingredients, allergens, and wine list to answer questions.
• Greet guests, take orders, and upsell where appropriate.
• Serve food and beverages with timeliness and accuracy.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws.
