Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa seeks an energetic Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a fast-paced casino setting. You will greet guests, describe specials, and assist with menu selections while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities include tableside service, wine presentation, and efficient collaboration with kitchen and bar staff to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Familiarity with food, beverage, and wine service.
• Knowledge of table service procedures and etiquette.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must maintain licenses/certifications per regulations.
• Two years of table service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to internal and external customers.
• Assist guests with menu and beverage selections with product knowledge.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through quality checks and responsiveness.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Work with team to handle busy and smoky casino environments.
• Perform tableside service, wine opening/pouring.
• Take orders, upsell specials, and communicate effectively.
