Job summary

Encore Boston Harbor is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, staffing, inventory, and guest service to meet luxury standards. You will manage department strategy, align with overall property goals, and drive performance within a high-end dining environment.

The role requires 5+ years in full-service dining, 3+ years in leadership, strong planning and project management skills, and fluency in English. Proficiency with POS and Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in hotel/restaurant management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of full-service restaurant experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in POS systems and office software.
• Knowledge of union and non-union environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English; second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Encore Boston Harbor standards and departmental goals are met.
• Manage staffing, labor, inventory, and guest service to standards.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and staff engagement within the department.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and safety standards across shifts.
• Schedule and conduct regular shift briefings highlighting VIPs, specials, and events.
• Foster guest relations and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
