Job summary

Encore Boston Harbor is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, staffing, inventory, guest service, and standards adherence. You will drive department strategy aligned with Encore’s goals and ensure exceptional guest and team member experiences in a high-volume setting.

The role requires 5+ years in full-service dining, 3 years in leadership, English fluency, MA licensing readiness, and strong computer skills with POS systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must obtain and maintain MA Gaming Commission license.
• Must obtain an alcohol awareness card.
• Education and/or Experience: High School degree; Bachelor's in hotel/restaurant mgmt or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in full-service restaurant; 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in POS, purchasing, warehouse software, time-keeping, and MS Office.
• Experience with planning and project management.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
• Fluency in English; second language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Encore Boston Harbor standards are implemented and followed.
• Manage short- and long-term department goals, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee department performance, records, and reports.
• Lead and evaluate staff performance and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and safety standards property-wide.
• Foster effective internal and guest relations and resolve issues.
• Conduct staff briefings and communicate VIPs, events, and daily specials.
• Maintain staff training, provide feedback, and create a motivating environment.
