Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Puerto Rico seeks a Security Officer to safeguard guests, employees and property with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will support fire and life safety systems, conduct patrols, and respond to emergencies while promoting a culture of safety and service.

Ideal candidates have a high school education and English proficiency; prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• 1 year of security or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the opening team.
• Protect guests, patrons and associates; property, hotel buildings and grounds.
• Enforce hotel rules, regulations and policies.
• Respond to non-emergency security calls, injuries, disputes, and issues.
• Promote safety awareness and provide training to reduce accidents and losses.
• Assist with emergency responses and Fire Command center operations as needed.
• Patrol building and address safety, security, and fire hazards.
• Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct investigations.
• Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems.
• Support Workers' Compensation reports and health and safety initiatives.
• Develop and implement hotel fire plans.
