Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico seeks a Server Assistant to support the dining team with an expertly served experience. You will clear and reset tables, stock service areas, and assist servers to ensure guests receive attentive, professional service.

The role requires at least one year in food and beverage service, good English/Spanish communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy resort environment. Competitive pay and benefits are offered on-site.

Qualifications

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and serve the owner and guest’s needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
• Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
