Banyan Living in the greater Cleveland area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will apply technical skills to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance across our properties to keep them safe and comfortable for residents.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of maintenance experience, and strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-focused skills.

Qualifications

• Technical certifications preferred.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly with a focus on service.
• Repair plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants after repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and track inventory.
• Collaborate with property management to resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and keep workspace clean and organized.
