Job summary

Banyan Living in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across our buildings to ensure residents enjoy a safe and well-maintained living environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, solid plumbing and electrical knowledge, and strong problem-solving and customer-service skills. On-site duties include on-call emergencies and coordinating with the property team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance or related field experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical systems and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants with necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work with property management to resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work environment.
