Job summary

MSB Resources, LLC is seeking a Senior Assistant Community Manager for a luxury Class A multifamily property in Washington, DC. The role requires hands-on experience in multifamily operations, including AP/AR, leasing, and resident relations, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to a high-end resident base.

You will work closely with the Community Manager to drive occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction, while ensuring compliance, financial reporting, and smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Experience in full-scope Assistant Community Manager or similar multifamily ops (AP/AR, invoicing, collections, leasing, renewals, resident relations).
• Luxury Class A multifamily experience in high-visibility environments.
• Experience with large institutional property management firms (Greystar, Bozzuto, Camden, Cortland, or equivalent) preferred.
• DC affordable housing experience strongly preferred; others considered.
• Excellent communication, organization, financial administration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily property operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, rent collection, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee resident accounts, delinquency follow-up, lease enforcement, renewals, move-outs, and collections.
• Manage leasing activities and contribute to occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.
• Build strong resident relationships, resolving sensitive or complex concerns with confidence and professionalism.
• Review resident files and maintain accurate documentation, with attention to affordable housing compliance requirements.
• Coordinate daily operations with maintenance and on-site team members to ensure a seamless resident experience.
• Support ownership and corporate reporting, property tours, and communication with commercial partners.
• Step in for the Community Manager as needed, demonstrating leadership, sound judgment, and operational accountability.
