Job summary

Advanced Asset Management (AAM Living) is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and overall performance of a multifamily community. This role manages property operations, leasing, sales, occupancy, resident relations, budgeting, and compliance to drive financial results.

You will lead onsite teams, coordinate with maintenance and vendors, and ensure high standards of service while maintaining regulatory compliance and exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• Experience in leasing, occupancy, collections, resident relations, and operations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, sales, financial management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and local landlord-tenant regulations.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management.
• CAM, ARM, or CPM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations including leasing, resident services, maintenance, collections.
• Lead, train, and coach onsite team to meet performance standards.
• Drive leasing, sales, occupancy, renewals, and resident retention.
• Monitor rental income, collections, expenses, and financial performance.
• Prepare budgets, reports, invoices, and operating expenses.
• Manage resident relations and resolve complaints professionally.
• Oversee leasing process from prospecting to move-ins/outs/renewals.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to complete work orders.
• Conduct property inspections to maintain standards.
• Maintain property records and leasing data.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and LIHTC when applicable.
