Qualifications

• Previous hotel or luxury culinary experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques.
• Banquet food production experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, plating standards, and event specifications.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control in all dishes.
• Accurately execute orders in a timely manner during service periods.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times.
• Communicate effectively with culinary leadership regarding timing, quality, and production needs.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team and front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and proper labeling of food items.
• Uphold Hotel ZaZa culinary standards, grooming guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Support opening and closing duties and assist other culinary team members as needed.
