Visual Comfort Co. specializes in decorative and architectural lighting and related solutions. The role combines showroom sales with technical project design responsibilities, working with trade and consumer clients from inception to completion.

You will provide expert lighting recommendations, manage client relationships, and collaborate with our design studio to deliver comprehensive documentation and BOMs for projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or showroom sales experience required, preferably in luxury lighting or building materials.
• Experience in design or building products industry preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; D365 knowledge preferred.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems for client management and project tracking.

Responsabilités

• Achieve and surpass showroom sales objectives.
• Oversee all phases of the sales process from opportunity to invoice, prioritizing exceptional customer service.
• Effectively manage sales pipeline to maximize success by ensuring consistent follow-up and follow-through.
• Deliver expert design consultation and product recommendations to trade and retail clients.
• Present compelling sales demonstrations featuring lighting, controls, and shading solutions.
• Collaborate with Visual Comfort Design Studio to prepare documentation for construction and BOMs.
• Respond to client inquiries with thorough understanding of proposed lighting and shading solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in lighting technologies and control systems.
• Showroom operations: ensure brand standards, manage opening/closing, and Saturday rotation.
