Job summary

Fairmont in Hawaii is seeking a guest-focused Food & Beverage team member for in-room dining and table service in a luxury hotel. You will deliver personalized dining experiences, maintain impeccable presentation, and support restaurant operations with enthusiasm and integrity.

Qualifications

• Provide warm, personal, and detailed service to guests in a luxury, upscale hotel restaurant environment.
• Excellent reading, writing and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Able to work cohesively in a team and maintain composure under fast-paced conditions.
• Maintain high standards of service and appearance; attention to detail and accuracy.
• Meet state and federal requirements to work in Food & Beverage (e.g., TB clearance).

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences to all guests with warmth and detailed service.
• Create a positive first impression through cleanliness, setup, and ambiance.
• Know F&B services, contents, preparation methods, and hotel offerings.
• Upsell and promote food and beverage to maximize revenue.
• Serve food and beverage promptly and accurately to guests.
• Remember guest names and preferences for personalized service.
• Ensure service standards are followed for all F&B items.
• Clear tables and reset spaces efficiently after guests depart.
• Assist other outlets during peak times and maintain HACCP compliance.
• Be familiar with hotel fire and life safety procedures.
