Job summary

The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, seeks a Maintenance Engineering Technician to uphold luxury standards by maintaining guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, perform cosmetic repairs, and document all maintenance work to ensure peak operation.

Qualifications

Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
Experience in luxury, full-service hotels is a plus.
Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general mechanical systems.
Experience with painting, drywall, carpentry, and repairs.
HVAC, refrigeration or electrical certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, mechanical systems.
Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Complete drywall, painting, caulking, patching, and cosmetic repairs.
Perform basic carpentry and furniture repairs.
Inspect spaces for maintenance concerns and address deficiencies.
Maintain documentation of maintenance and work orders.
Assist with HVAC and refrigeration equipment maintenance as needed.
