Job summary

At The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, we seek a Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and exceptional guest experiences.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires hands-on skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support hotel operations and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs throughout guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond to maintenance requests and service calls promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Complete cosmetic repairs including drywall, painting, caulking, and fixtures maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of PMs, repairs, and inspections.
