The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville
Department: Engineering
Position: Engineering Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time
At The Joseph, every detail contributes to an exceptional guest experience. Our Engineering team works behind the scenes to ensure our guest rooms, restaurants, spa, public areas, and building systems operate beautifully, safely, and seamlessly.
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and service-minded Engineering Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, completing repairs, and responding to guest and operational maintenance needs throughout the hotel.
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and working in various areas of the property. The Engineering Technician must be able to safely lift and carry equipment and supplies, climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and work in mechanical spaces and varying environmental conditions.
Technical ability is important, but so is hospitality. A successful Engineering Technician understands that entering a guest room to repair an air-conditioning unit isn't simply a maintenance call—it’s an opportunity to restore the guest's experience.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, notices the details, communicates professionally, supports their teammates, and takes genuine pride in keeping our hotel operating at its very best.
