Northwood Hospitality LLC in Nashville is seeking an Engineer to assist in maintaining regulatory standards and responding to guest repair requests, ensuring timely and smooth resolution of maintenance issues.

The role includes preventive maintenance across guest rooms, kitchens, laundry, and mechanical systems, with coordination with Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Catering to maintain operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years’ experience in the engineering and maintenance at a comparable facility.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service
• Keyboard skills basic knowledge of Word, Excel, plus ability to complete basic math

Responsibilities

• Respond to guests requests for service according to company policy. Record progress and completion in core timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, commercial kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and mechanical equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machinery regularly.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical issues and guestroom items; program TVs and perform other engineering duties.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on mechanical equipment.
• Assist in maintaining and recording supplies for the Engineering Department.
• Coordinate maintenance with Housekeeping, Restaurant, Kitchen and Catering.
• Uphold SOP standards and Forbes Service guidelines.
