Job summary

Hotel Covington is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations and guest experience. You will work closely with the Regional Director to oversee rooms, front office, guest services, valet/parking, security and other functions.

• Experience leading department heads and frontline hospitality teams.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service, and financial performance.

• Experience with service recovery and handling sensitive guest or employee situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure departments operate efficiently according to service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain leadership presence and foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and accountability.
• Coordinate communication between departments during high-volume periods and events.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Review staffing levels and labor deployment to balance coverage and costs.
