Job summary

VP Management is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee hotel operations, drive profitability, and ensure service and product quality. The AGM will supervise day-to-day activities, coordinate staff, and ensure compliance with policies while actively participating in Front Desk operations.

The role requires a strong hospitality background, Front Desk experience, and 2-4 years of management experience with full availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality industry is required.
• Front Desk and/or hotel experience is required.
• 2-4 years of management experience.
• Must have FULL availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel.
• Plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule/delegate work.
• Advise staff of policies and procedures, identify options and resolve issues.
• Initiate disciplinary or other staff actions per company policies.
• Ensure hotel quality standards in appearance, maintenance, and cleanliness; implement preventative maintenance.
• Ensure staff are trained and have tools and equipment needed to perform their jobs.
• Maintain a sage and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets; comply with Health and Safety programs.
• Report to the General Manager; as a hands-on AGM, participate in Front Desk operations.
