Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a High Rise General Manager to lead community operations and align with Board directives. You will oversee client relationships with boards, residents, and external agencies, while guiding staff and ensuring compliance and budget performance.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, governance, and on-site leadership to foster a secure, well-run community that meets residents' expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• CMCA or CAI designation or pursuing one.
• Minimum of 3 years as General Manager in community management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong budgeting, financial, and governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to achieve Board objectives.
• Oversee staffing, discipline, and staff development per plan.
• Develop and manage annual budgets with Board approval.
• Coordinate with boards, committees, and residents.
• Lead board meetings, prepare minutes and follow-up on directives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
