Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Royal Service Agent to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting. You will manage front desk duties, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless arrivals and stays.

Responsibilities include upholding Royal Service standards, handling reservations and communications, and assisting guests with hotel services, rates and packages. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• PBX experience and front desk operations in a luxury hotel preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly.
• Professional telephone etiquette and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Act as point of contact for all internal and external communications
• Maintains a perpetual presence by remaining attentive and answering every call, internal and external, guest and colleague
• Answer all email inquiries within 24 hours
• Own the pre-arrival process for guests and set up reservations
• Maintain knowledge of hotel rates and packages
• Assist with billing inquiries and folio requests
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities and provide information
• Liaise with Sales and other departments as required
• Ensure revenue is maximized by upselling guest rooms and services
