Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Front Desk/ Royal Service Agent to welcome guests, manage registrations and billing, and coordinate room assignments. You will convey hotel services, handle requests, and support multiple departments for a seamless stay.

The role requires strong English communication, luxury hospitality experience, and proficiency with PMS and telephone systems. A flexible, guest-centric approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Royal Service Agent, or Guest Relations role in a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows and Office Applications; knowledge of Opera PMS and PBX/telephone switchboard systems.

Responsibilities

• Process guest registrations, check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and key issuance efficiently and courteously.
• Coordinate guest room billing, settle guest accounts, and adhere to cashiering and financial procedures.
• Block and assign rooms in the PMS, communicate room requirements and special requests.
• Communicate hotel services, outlets, hours of operation, promotions, and offerings to guests.
• Maintain knowledge of guest room types, layouts, rates, and packages.
• Assist other Front Office departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
