Job summary

Montage International in Bluffton, South Carolina, seeks a Concierge to ensure a wonderful guest experience through excellent service. As one of the first contacts, you will greet guests, provide information on attractions, and assist with reservations for the resort and external facilities.

You will coordinate with Reception and other departments, log guest requests, track arrivals, and help arrange transportation using our contracted vendors.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an upscale hotel preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Exceptional guest recovery skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Provide information and recommendations about local attractions and hotel amenities.
• Book reservations for resort and external facilities.
• Log guest requests and follow up as needed.
• Coordinate arrivals, group activities, and communicate with Reception and other departments.
• Log and deliver incoming/outgoing packages.
• Schedule Hotel Driver services and coordinate guest transportation with contracted vendors.
