Job summary

Fairmont Washington DC is seeking a Group Sales Manager to drive sales for 8–75 room groups on peak nights, build and manage a client base, and meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. You will work with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management to optimize group business and leverage loyalty programs.

The role requires a four-year degree, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to travel for industry events and client meetings. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality sales is strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong prospecting and contract negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of sales for groups of 8–75 rooms on peak night.
• Develop and maintain customer base in assigned markets.
• Achieve or exceed personal sales goals through account development.
• Attend sales meetings and industry events, including overnight travel.
• Coordinate with Sales leadership to meet budgeted group room rates.
