Job summary

The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI is seeking a guest services/front desk professional to manage reservations, concierge tasks, and guest relations. You will greet guests, handle check-in/out, and coordinate with departments to ensure a seamless stay.

Strong knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS, OpenTable, and local attractions is preferred. A high school diploma is required, with hospitality degrees a plus; prior front desk experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard hotel policies, procedures, and services.
• Excellent communication with guests and team members; professional demeanor.
• Tech-savvy with computer systems including Opera Cloud PMS, Alice Hospitality and OpenTable.
• Fluent foreign language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest services, reservations, concierge, and host/hostess support.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, process messages, and direct calls to extensions.
• Assist with check-in/out procedures and lobby greetings.
• Make restaurant and local reservations and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, and local attractions.
