Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Birmingham, AL seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to lead our guest services team, manage check-ins/outs, reservations, and ensure service standards are met with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will train staff, monitor guest satisfaction, assist with scheduling, and participate in revenue initiatives while upholding brand policies and delivering a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years prior guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Basic computer knowledge and excellent written and verbal skills required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and team members.
• Experience with office equipment (copier, printer, fax, telephone).
• Ability to apply commonsense instructions and follow standardized procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front desk operations and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Train staff and model high service standards.
• Manage check-ins/outs, reservations, and special requests.
• Provide knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and outlets.
• Assist in achieving revenue goals through service programs and up-selling.
