The Peninsula New York is seeking a Front Desk Agent to elevate the guest experience at check-in and throughout stays. You will greet, register, and escort guests, while handling payments and maintaining accurate records in line with hotel policies.

We require a welcoming personality, English fluency, and at least one year of luxury hotel experience. Flexibility with shifts and strong organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year hotel experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Must be flexible with schedule.
• Ability to handle cash and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class and personalized service to all guests from arrival through departure.
• Greet and register guests, assign rooms, escort to rooms, and assist with check-out per hotel procedures.
• Provide information and assistance to ensure guest needs are met.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide hotel orientation.
• Ensure correct reconciliation of funds at end of each shift; report discrepancies.
• Handle reception administrative duties (profiles, registrations, emails, faxes).
• Adhere to Peninsula New York guest service standards.
• Address guest feedback and complaints promptly, involving Manager on Duty as needed.
