Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver high-quality, personalized service to arriving and in-house guests. You will greet guests, provide comprehensive information about the hotel’s amenities, and handle check-in with a professional and welcoming attitude.

Reporting to the Director of Front Office, you will follow established procedures, address guest requests, and maintain accurate records while ensuring privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hotel room operations or similar setting.
• Experience in a Five Star/ AAA/ Five Diamond property is preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Office and property management systems is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.
• Ability to work varied shifts and compute basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, managing check-in for arriving and in-house guests.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; accommodate requests.
• Follow check-in procedures, modify registrations, handle rate changes and reservations.
• Maintain reception logs and relay guest feedback to the Manager on Duty.
• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Encourage up-selling to maximize revenue; follow procedures.
• Ensure front desk supplies are stocked and area remains clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Support team with related tasks to deliver exceptional service.
