Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Agent. You will greet guests, check in/out, and provide prompt, courteous service to ensure memorable stays.

The ideal candidate has excellent customer service, strong English communication, and the ability to use a computer system. Benefits include meals, room discounts, and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and communication are required.
• Previous hotel, receptionist, customer service, front desk or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and perform essential functions.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer system.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
• Check guests in and out of rooms.
• Input and retrieve information from the computer system; assign rooms per guest needs.
• Interact with guests professionally to resolve questions and issues.
• Respond to requests and relay information about area services; report complaints to management.
• Promptly answer the phone in a professional and clear manner.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy including responsibility for the House Bank.
• Other duties as assigned.
