Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking an overnight Front Desk Associate at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee to greet guests, check them in, handle calls and reservations, balance nightly revenue, and support front office operations. You will ensure security, coordinate with housekeeping, and resolve guest concerns with professionalism.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. This full-time, hourly role offers benefits and opportunities within a premier luxury property known for iconic service and style.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English with written and verbal communication.
• Thorough understanding of basic math and accounting procedures.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and use sound judgment in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with a warm and professional demeanor for overnight check-in.
• Process reservations, answer phone inquiries, and provide courteous service throughout the night.
• Balance daily revenue from rooms, spa, restaurants, and bars.
• Back up computer systems, reindex data files, and ensure records are accurate and secure.
• Deposit credit card transactions and process no-shows, charges, and cancellations.
• Maintain cash control and ensure deposits are made according to policy.
• Monitor safety, security, and cleanliness of the front desk and lobby overnight.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and resolve issues.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
• Complete shift reports and checklists.
• Perform other duties to support Front Office and Accounting teams.
