Job summary

InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Outlet Manager to oversee daily restaurant/bar operations, drive profitability, and ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel standards.

You will collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to execute outlets’ strategies, manage staff, and deliver exceptional hospitality in a luxury waterfront setting in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hotel management or related field.
• Experience in restaurant and bar operations.
• Experience in large-volume F&B operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a large team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Coach and develop team with performance goals and feedback.
• Train colleagues to uphold standards and compliance.
• Oversee restaurant and bar operations and guest experience.
• Maintain equipment, sanitation, and cleanliness in outlets.
• Monitor guest service and address requests and complaints.
