Job summary

The Nantucket Hotel & Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations across all outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistent service standards. This role is hands-on, enabling strong collaboration with Culinary, Events, Rooms, and Hotel Leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of progressive F&B leadership experience in hotel, resort, or luxury environment.
• Strong FOH knowledge of service standards and guest relations.
• Confident leader who coaches and maintains morale under pressure.
• Experience with POS systems and scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

• Daily FOH operations and service leadership across all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, seasonal activations).
• Act as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly staff with clear expectations.
• Oversee onboarding and training for seasonal and year-round staff.
• Monitor labor, scheduling, and coverage; support cost controls and inventory.
• Coordinate with Events and Culinary teams for private functions and special dining.
