ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for a Forbes luxury hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a hands-on operational leadership role supporting the day-to-day management of the hotel's F&B operations across restaurants, in-room dining, banquets, and stewarding. The right candidate is passionate about hospitality, service-driven, and ready to grow within a world-class F&B team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, in-room dining, banquets, or stewarding as assigned
• Ensure guests receive an exceptional level of service consistent with Forbes Five-Star luxury standards
• Schedule staff and complete payroll records in line with budgeted guidelines
• Lead, coach, train, and motivate F&B team members, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of excellence
• Interview, select, and evaluate team members; handle performance management and discipline as required
• Maintain a visible, guest-facing presence on the floor, building relationships with regular guests and cultivating new ones
• Oversee purchasing, inventories, and cost controls in support of the division's financial targets
• Utilise the hotel's F&B; systems for sales, checks, end-of-day revenue reporting, and operational records

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1 to 2 years of Food and Beverage management experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment
• Forbes experience is a strong advantage
• Experience in in-room dining or restaurant operations is preferred
• Solid knowledge of F&B service, cost control, labour management, and menu development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in hotel F&B systems
• Flexible availability to meet operational demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid US work authorization required - visa sponsorship is not available
