Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead service operations across all outlets and events. You will supervise dining rooms, bars, pools, and venues, ensuring flawless setup, staff appearance, and guest satisfaction in a luxury oceanfront setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in F&B and 1 year in a supervisory role, with strong customer service and team-building skills.

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent experience required.
A minimum of 4 years in food and beverage industry.
A minimum of 1 year of management or supervisory role, preferably in an F&B establishment.
Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as overall excellent customer service.
Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills.
Proven ability to effectively build and foster a team environment.
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Must be of legal age to service alcoholic beverages.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with others.
Ability to work with all personality types even in adverse situations.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage service aspects in all food and beverage areas and events.
Oversee dining room, café, pools, bar and events to ensure proper setup and service.
Ensure staff uniforms and appearance standards are met.
Train staff in technical and non-technical aspects of their roles.
Coordinate with service and kitchen staff on reservations and events.
Conduct pre-shift and pre-event meetings with staff.
Evaluate staff performance and address disciplinary issues as needed.
Perform rounds of outlets to ensure guest satisfaction and needs are met.
Open/close bars, cafes, restaurants, and pools; secure areas after shift.
Maintain accurate daily/weekly punch details and open check reports.
Identify and train on up-selling and sales opportunities.
Enforce safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies.
Handle guest inquiries and feedback, driving service improvements.
Collaborate with other departments for seamless guest experiences.
